Making Funerals Fair....
With a unique view of a very traditional business, our combined experience of over 30 years is guaranteed to bring you a level of service which will exceed your expectations.
*PLEASE NOTE* From the 1st June 2026, we no longer have set 'prices' for our services, to reflect that we are a charitable company as opposed to a fixed cost company. Values on the 'Our Services' page now show suggested donations for the chosen service - by making the stated donation you ensure that we are able to provide the required product/service. Any additional sum you wish to pay on top of this amount will go towards achieving our longer term goals.
What We Do
Whether you require a funeral service, floral arrangement, Orders of Service, a celebrant to take a service, Will Writing or perhaps the provision of a memorial tree at an existing site to commemorate a loved one, then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Direct Burials
and Cremations
With a direct burial, we will arrange to collect the person who has died, take them into our care, complete all necessary paperwork and convey them in a bespoke vehicle on the day of the burial to the cemetery. We will provide you with the grave/plot number and, if you would like, a wooden grave marker and memorial sapling to identify the grave.
Cremations are carried out similarly, except instead of the person who has died being conveyed to the cemetery they will be taken to the crematorium and arrangements made to return the ashes to you as soon as possible.
The direct burial funeral is available at a cost of £1750, whereas the direct cremation funeral costs £1250.
Payment in
Advance
We have all heard of 'Funeral Plans', whereby you pay for the funeral package - often by means of instalments - that you require for use at a later date.
Uniquely, we accept payment in advance either in full or by agreed instalments, BUT in the event of you wishing to cancel at a later date then we will provide you with a full refund.
This payment in advance option can be applied to both burials and cremations, but ongoing payments will reflect that the total cost will have been paid within a maximum of 12 months.
In the event of the person dying for whom the funeral has been purchased, any sum still due will require to be paid for the funeral to take place.

Will Writing Service
Did you know that between 50%-60% of UK adults
don't have a Will?
The most common reason given for not writing a Will is 'I haven't got round to it' or 'I'm too young'.
In reality, anyone over the age of 18 (or 16 if you're in the armed forces) can make a Will and it's never too early to put your wishes into writing. It's wrong to assume that your possessions automatically pass to those closest to you on your death. You might want to take the opportunity to leave gifts - such as money or practical items - to a cause you believe in. Without a Will, the law will decide based on intestacy rules what happens to your possessions (including property), meaning that unmarried partners, stepchildren and friends will usually inherit nothing. This in turn creates more stress, cost and potential family arguments. By having a Will, you ensure that your assets (including money, property and possessions) go to the people you choose.
Several groups of people benefit from leaving a Will, including anyone with children and/or unmarried/cohabiting partners, business and/or property owners, those with savings, investments, life insurance and anyone who wants to leave money or items to charities and/or friends.
Taking the opportunity to use our Will Writing Service means that any potential issues after your death will not arise as you will have already put your wishes into a legal form. Our service includes an individual Will, five copies for you to distribute as necessary (such as to a Solicitor, children and/or close friend, for example) and we can also retain a copy for you. Our service also includes as many rewrites and updates as you require.
In addition, in 2006 The National Will Register was formed and is an independent central database where your Will can be stored, thus preventing Wills from being lost. To date, in excess of 10 million Wills are stored with them. We are able to arrange this additional service for you at a cost of £30 per Will (which is the fee they charge), or you can arrange to do this for yourself (with the fee remaining the same).
All we ask is that in return for our providing you with a will writing service you make a minimum donation of £20 to our charitable company which has been established to provide heavily subsidised - and ultimately free - direct cremations and burials.

Why Are We Called
'The Never Forgotten'?
The name - 'The Never Forgotten' - reflects a long term goal to provide a lasting memorial to people after they have died, in the form of a cemetery/natural burial ground and, initially, a memorial woodland.
We work with a small private natural funeral ground, thus keeping cost to a minimum. It is our intention to ultimately be able to offer fully subsidised funerals, to the point of them being free of charge.
Burial plots will be of sufficient size to accommodate up to four people, to a single depth. Each individual grave will be identifiable by means of a plaque and the planting of a sapling. In time, it will be possible to visit the woodland and, as the trees grow, it will remain a living memorial. Unlike many cemeteries, there will be no concerns regarding plot leases expiring and the possibility of graves being moved - every grave purchase (or allocation, once we are able to provide them free of charge) will be the property of the registrant. For those preferring cremation, individual and family plots are available in which to bury ashes. Again, markers and memorial saplings will be available.
As a charitable incorporated organisation, the company is allowed to fundraise and has every intention of doing so through the provision of our other services, with the end goal of developing this permanent natural space.
The death of a loved one is heartbreaking, but with the creation of a memorial ground you can ensure that they will never be forgotten.
